Abigail Nighswonger

Abigail Nighswonger is a Junior studying Sociology: Law, Justice, and Social Change with Minors in Writing and History of Law and Policy. She joined LSA Student Government in Fall 2021 as an Associate Representative and during this time she acted as Liaison for the Center for Academic Innovation. That same semester she was voted in as an Elected Representative and became Vice Chair of the Comittee on Student Technology, Advising, and Academic Resources. In Winter 2022 she helped establish the Task Force on Sexual Misconduct Response and Prevention and was appointed as Vice-Chair for SMRP. 

Her interests include Star Trek, Science Fiction books, Political and Legal History, and working out. She has a cat named Ba'ul "Bau" Nighswonger who is named after an alien species from her favorite Star Trek episode.
