Services

The team in LSA HR can help hiring managers conduct an efficient and effective search process.  The team:

  1. Develops, implements, evaluates, and improves college-wide strategies for attracting high-quality, diverse talent for ~1400 staff positions across 18 professions in LSA.

  2. Develops and maintains positive partnerships and shared accountability with hiring supervisors to recruit and select staff for LSA.

  3. In collaboration, DEI colleagues, and key stakeholders, creates equitable recruitment and selection practices that promote inclusion.

  4. In collaboration with the LSA DEI Office, specialized recruitment and selection activities are conducted to recruit diverse applicants for LSA positions.

  5. In collaboration, our DEI team and key stakeholders create resources for hiring supervisors.

  6. On an ongoing basis, evaluates and continuously improves the effectiveness of recruitment and selection practices.

  7. Networks with talent experts within and outside UM so that LSA continuously employs effective and innovative practices.
