The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts works with the Rackham Graduate School in processing requests for proposing, revising, and suspending graduate degree and certificate programs.
Reviews may take from one semester to an academic year to complete. Time for questions and related responses, plus time for review by various bodies within LSA and Rackham requires advanced planning. Please allow plenty of time for your proposal to undergo review.
LSA departments seeking to make changes or to submit a new proposal for graduate degrees and certificates are strongly encouraged to be in contact with the LSA Dean’s Office before they submit their intent to Rackham.
