With more than 85 majors, more than 100 minors, 1,000+ faculty, and more than 3,000 courses available to undergraduates each semester, possibilities in the College of LSA might seem overwhelming at first. That’s why the College has robust resources in place to help foster student success.
Our faculty don’t just research, they teach. That’s why we have a 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio. Students have the opportunity to study everything from anthropology to zoology in world-class programs: 45 of LSA’s programs are ranked in the top 10 by U.S. News & World Report.
U.S News & World Report also recognized U-M in 2015 for programs that led to student success, including first-year experience, learning communities, service learning, and undergraduate and creative projects. Many of these programs are based in LSA.
Our administrative offices and staff are here to help students forge their own paths, explore their world, develop new interests, and deepen old ones.
