About
As the communications editor at the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology, Emily Allison-Siep supports the production and editing of the museum’s publications—making sure they are accessible to the widest possible audience.
Emily received her BA in English from Albion College. Prior to coming to the Kelsey, she served as the editor in chief at the Historical Society of Michigan, overseeing the production of the organization’s popular history magazines, academic journal, and other publications. She also works as a substitute in the reference and youth services departments at the Howell Carnegie District Library. When not editing, Emily enjoys reading, playing violin, and mountain biking.
