Carolyn Madden teaches interactive and academic speaking and listening for the Summer AJOU program and has recently taught Academic Communications Seminar for Visiting Scholars and Post Docs for the ELI. She has previously taught courses in teacher training, service learning and second language teaching and acquisition.
Previously Carolyn was a full time lecturer and Associate Director of the English Language Institute. She has an MA in Linguistics from the Graduate Center, CUNY and a JD from Wayne State Law School. She currently serves on the Board of the League of Women Voters and a number of other citizen groups.
