Establishing a strong social network is key to academic and professional success, and learning how to comfortably make small talk is a great first step in making personal and professional connections. It also helps you excel in your academic work, integrate with life on campus, and take advantage of U-M resources. This workshop will provide tips and strategies for networking and small talk. You will practice these skills in small groups, preparing you to make your own connections with friends, professors, and future colleagues.
