Join us in congratulating Professor William Stroebel, whose book, Literature's Refuge, is a co-winner of the Keeley Prize of the Modern Greek Studies Association, the leading representative of the field.
This was a banner year for Modern Greek studies, and Literature's Refuge was chosen from among 20 innovative entries, spanning all academic disciplines and periods, from anthropology to literature to history, from the Ottoman era to contemporary Greece.
