Andryusha completed a BA in Russian Language and Literature & Comparative Literature at UC Berkeley. He has worked as a Yiddish language instructor since 2019 and his research interests include transnational Eastern European Literatures, queer Russophone literature, and sexuality/gender studies. He plans to focus on Yiddish and Russian while improving his Ukrainian, Hebrew, Farsi, and Japanese.
Remi completed a BA in Comparative Literature at Brown University. She is interested in Korean diasporic literature, postcolonial literature, translation, gender and sexuality studies, and trauma studies. Furthermore, she enjoys knitting, embroidery, writing poetry, and going on long walks in her free time. She plans to incorporate Korean, Japanese, and Russian in her studies.
