Ph.D. in Classical Studies
About
After beginning his study of Latin and Greek in middle school, David earned his BA in Classics from the University of Georgia, graduating summa cum laude. A philologist through and through, David’s primary research interests include narratological and intertextual readings of emotion in Homer, the Athenian tragedians, and the poets of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. In his free time, David enjoys watching and playing sports of all kinds, especially hockey (a novelty for a lifelong Southerner!).
