About
Chenyu was earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronic Commerce from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2021. In following three years, he secured a second bachelor in Classics in Sapienza Università di Roma (2025) after one year of Erasmus Exchange Study in Universität Heidelberg (2023-24). His main interests include the interactions between literary production, intellectual practices, and political negotiations in the Late Republic Period. To understand Rome in Hellenistic world and Italic society also attracts him greatly. Currently, he is exploring Varro's writings as a whole to reconstruct the lost republic against the backdrop of contemporary intellectual background. He is also an enthusiastic poet and translator of world poetry. Rilke, T. S. Eliot, and Zhang Zao are his favorites.
