PhD in Classical Studies
About
Andrew graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.A. in Classics (2017). He received an M.A. in Classics (2018) from the same institution, during which his main work was on the expression of religious thought in Aeschylus. He is pursuing a PhD in Classical Studies with an MA in Philosophy at the University of Michigan as part of the Program in Ancient Philosophy. He now works on ancient science, in particular ancient medicine, astronomy, and Hellenistic epistemology, as well as digital humanities (as part of the online Aratus project directed by Francesca Schironi). He is very interested in philological work on fragmentary texts and linguistics as well.
