About
My archaeological research explores variation and change in small-scale farming communities in North America, especially in the southwestern United States. My fieldwork focuses on pithouse villages and small pueblos in the Homol’ovi area of northeastern Arizona. I also have a strong commitment to sharing my research with the public. I am particularly interested in the ways in which contemporary people, including descendant communities, engage with archaeological remains and museum collections.
