Becca Pickus

Becca Pickus is a lecturer as well as the Program Head for the Social Theory and Practice (STP) Program, a social justice-focused Major. Her classes focus on restorative and transformative justice; decarceration activism; arts-based, trauma-responsive, and healing-centered practice; critical pedagogies; and abolition. 

Becca is an RC alumna (STP and Creative Writing) and received her MSW from the University of Michigan School of Social Work. Her clinical interests include psychodynamic and attachment theory; play therapy; and trauma, grief, and loss.
