"The Art of the Drink: From Metro Detroit to KwaZulu-Natal," is a new exhibition at Wayne State Grosscup Museum of Anthropology. UMMAA contributed to the exhibition by loaning two ceramic vessels. Both items are from Peru and are associated with chicha beer: a kero (Inca) and an anthropomorphic jar (Chancay).
The exhibit will be open through fall 2024.
The Grosscup Museum is free and open to the public.
Address: Old Main Building, Suite 1227, 4841 Cass Ave., Detroit, MI.
