University of Wyoming professor of anthropology Robert L. Kelly has received the Alexander von Humboldt Research Foundation Award in recognition of his achievements in the field of archaeology. Kelly, who earned his PhD in anthropology from the University of Michigan, has worked in archaeology for more than 40 years and is a prolific author and past president of the Society for American Archaeology.
