The University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts cordially invites you to a three-person LSA Collegiate Lecture Series on Wednesday, March 12, 4:00–5:30 pm, on the 10th floor of Weiser Hall.

Three U-M professors will be speaking:  Kelly M. Askew, Niara Sudarkasa Collegiate Professor of Anthropology and Afroamerican & African Studies, who will speak on "Art in Adversity: Swahili Poetry, Philosophy & Political Action"; Derek R. Peterson, Ali Mazrui Collegiate Professor of History and African Studies, who will speak on "A Popular History of Idi Amin’s Uganda"; and Thad A. Polk, Samuel D. Epstein Collegiate Professor of Psychology, who will speak on "The Aging Brain: Age-related Changes in Neurochemistry, Neural Activity, and Behavior."
