Michael Galaty, director of UMMAA, discusses the RAPID-K intensive survey in a free lecture at the Kelsey Museum on November 1.

Michael Galaty, director of UMMAA, will speak on his Kosova survey project, RAPID-K, at the Kelsey Museum on Thursday, November 1.

The RAPID-K project is an intensive survey of a region in western Kosova—a mountain plateau rich in prehistoric ruins where there has been very little international archaeology in recent years.

The Kelsey’s FAST lectures (Field Archaeology Series on Thursday) are free and open to the public.

Reception at the Kelsey Museum at 5:30 pm. Lecture to follow at 6:00 p.m.

The same day, November 1, at noon, Dr. Galaty will give a brown bag lecture on the topic at the School of Education.
