You are invited to an event at the U-M Museum of Art for a screening of silent film footage from the 1920s U-M excavations at Karanis, Egypt, followed by a panel discussion. The event, Archaeology in Motion: Karanis Silent Film Showing and Panel Discussion, is part of the Digging Deeper: Thursday Night Lecture Series, and will take place Thursday, February 13, 6-7:30 p.m. in the Helmut Stern Auditorium in the Museum of Art. Panelists are Laura Motta, Nic Terrenato, Arthur Verhoogt, and Markus Nornes.
