Where did you transfer from? Northern Michigan University 

Why did you choose to transfer to the University of Michigan? There were more opportunities here, and I wanted to attend a larger school. 

Based on your personal experience, what is the one thing you want to tell new transfer students? If you are thinking about it, just go ahead and do it. You will not regret it! There are so many resources available to you to make your transfer experience successful. 

How did you make friends and meet other students on campus? I roomed with other transfer students who became my best friends, and through joining clubs. 

What is your favorite part about being an LSA transfer student? All of the opportunities available to transfer students -- you will feel so welcomed the second you arrive here. I also love my classes and the wide variety of options to choose from. 

What do you know now that you wish you’d known before transferring to the University of Michigan? That everything will work out! I was so stressed about housing, making friends, and the rigor of classes. However, everything worked out super well, and I would not change anything. 

Why did you choose your specific major(s)? I love learning about politics and I plan to go to law school. Political science fits both of my interests.
