Following the monumental accomplishment of earning a Ph.D. in physics, the burning question is always, what is next? The possibilities for employment are numerous, and contrary to the generally propagated and believed career track, many physics Ph.D.'s are happily employed outside of academia. In this talk, I will present some data on employment rates, sectors of employment, average salaries, and other important statistics. Lastly, I will briefly discuss my path to earning my degree and beyond, including relevant topics that influenced for my choices.
