Speaker: George Sterman (Stony Brook)
In gauge theories the exponentiation of infrared singularities often results in exponents that can be thought of as sums over 'webs'. Webs are certain perturbative diagrams with modified color factors. They are a general feature of products of two or more Wilson lines, and they have a suggestive connection to surfaces even at low orders in perturbation theory.
