The recent discovery of the Higgs boson completes the Standard Model of particle physics.  But many questions remain: what is the identity of the Dark Matter that dominates our universe? Why is there an asymmetry between matter and anti-matter?  I will discuss the significance of the Higgs boson discovery and its properties measured thus far, with an eye towards these and other questions of importance for finding physics beyond the Standard Model.
