Mapping diffuse 21 cm emission from neutral hydrogen gas between redshifts 06). In this talk, I will describe the development of the 21 cm intensity mapping approach in the context of reionization science for the Murchson Widefield Array (MWA) in Western Australia. I will then outline how the technique can be applied to yield Stage-IV Dark Energy constraints based on an instrument concept dubbed the Cosmological Acceleration and Radio Pulsar Experiment (CARPE).
