The Great Lakes Strings Conferences is a series of conferences that seek to bring together the substantial number of string theorists that work at institutions in the great lakes area. Researchers from outside the geographical focus area are welcome to attend as well.

The meeting is scheduled over a long weekend (Friday to Sunday). There will be a number of talks, including some by postdocs and students, and plenty of opportunity for informal interactions.
