<B>Life After Grad School Seminar</B><br><i>Opportunities for a Physicist at Northrop Grumman Corp.</i>

Speaker: Dr. Terry Dull (Northrop Grumman Corporation)

Terry Dull received his B.S. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison where he majored in physics and in mathematics and his M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from the University of Michigan in 1998 where he worked under the direction of Prof. David Gidley. Terry worked for two more years in Ann Arbor as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering under the direction of Prof. Albert F. Yee. While at Michigan Terry developed several positron beams and performed solid state, surface, and polymer research. Dr. Dull joined Northrop Grumman Corporation in 2000 and has worked on several radio- frequency electronic warfare programs focusing primarily on antennas, radar warning systems, electronic support measures, RF countermeasures, and RF interferometry. He will tell us what it is like to work for a major defense-industry contractor and some of the opportunities for physicists to work for NGC. Terry is one of several NGC recruiters visiting campus in early February and take note: despite the economic downturn they are hiring physicists right now!
