Cultivating student leadership and success
Introducing the Student Leaders Program (SLP)—a brand new team focused on shaping the leadership potential of U-M’s liberal arts and sciences students by transforming them into student mentors, coaches, and ambassadors for the LSA Opportunity Hub. Our mission is to support your development into leaders so that we can harness the power of your leadership and your connections across the college to reach LSA students who are currently unreached with transformative career support.
This opportunity is ideal for LSA students who:
Are you affiliated with student groups across campus? Have you recently used the Hub’s career services and feel compelled to make sure your friends and classmates know about us? Do you love making connections for a professional fraternity or athletics team you're part of? Maybe you’re a peer advisor or tutor in your spare time? Perhaps you volunteer for nonprofits or mission-based organizations that serve the historically underserved?
Whatever group or extracurricular work you’re actively involved with, we want to hear about it—the SLP is about building you up professionally so you can build up others too.
For the first time ever, the Hub’s Student Leaders Program is recruiting — and we want you on our team. Learn more about the benefits of being part of the SLP below, as well as the deadline and requirements to apply.
