Across all of our discussions with LSA alums, a consistent theme we’ve discovered is that mentorship is touted as one of the top factors behind career clarity, growth, and success. On behalf of the college of LSA, the Opportunity Hub is dedicating a whole calendar day to celebrating the enduring value and joys of mentorship.
Join us for a day of human connection, community, and career-building at the first-ever LSA Mentorship Celebration. Whether you’re an LSA alum, campus partner, or LSA student, there’s an event for you, each focused on fostering connection, providing practical resources, and celebrating mentorship.

Guests will be invited to celebrate their mentorship experience alongside LSA alums who’ve participated in the LSA Mentorship Program. You’ll also get a sneak peak into the LSA Opportunity Hub’s future growth strategies from Assistant Dean of Student Development & Career Initiatives, Joslyn Johnson, and the Hub’s Managing Director, Amber Strickland.
Mentorship Program Showcase & Tabling

Are you a student that’s curious about having a mentor of your own? Explore mentorship opportunities across campus at the college’s first-ever Mentorship Showcase. You’ll meet friendly reps from long-celebrated mentorship programs at units like UROP and optiMize, and many other campus organizations. Drop by to find a mentorship opportunity that matches your personal interests and career goals!
