A liberal arts education provides you with knowledge and skills that are applicable in more than one field, allowing you to explore the world through different opportunities and experiences.
In highschool, I wanted to become a teacher and thought this was the only role I could assume in the education world to help students reach their academic and life goals. Pursuing my masters at U-M has shifted my perspective allowing me to be in different leadership positions where I can offer my time and energy to support students in a variety of ways, all while exploring different career paths in the educational field.
