Buck Jamil

As the Navigation Services Intern, I will be assisting prospective and current students, alums, and the general public with information about The University of Michigan and more specifically LSA and theOpportunity Hub. I will also be aiding my cohort with events and programs hosted throughout the year. I’m hoping that my work for the Hub will help students and everyone else with any questions and feelings of discomfort they have and make anyone feel at home and cared for. 

I believe that an education in liberal arts aids students in becoming better learners as they learn not only about their concentrated subject majors but also about the world in general. In a world of misinformation and one where we make decisions that impact everyone and us in areas of our lives other than our professional lives, liberal arts education provides us with clarity and better options for our decisions.
