LSA’s curriculum allows you to choose from more than 3,000 courses, 90 majors and sub-majors, and more than 100 minors. It may sound like a lot, but you actually only take about 40 classes. The Liberal Arts at LSA
The humanities are centered on understanding the human experience through art, literature, language, and cultures across the world. The natural sciences focus on understanding the physical world through observation and experimentation. Social sciences research examines relationships among individuals, as well as relationships between their societies.
Applied Liberal Arts
Unique to LSA, Applied Liberal Arts courses are meant to complement internships and similar opportunities that expand your education, leadership skills, and personal growth. These courses are integrative, innovative, multidisciplinary, and designed to set you up for success.
