Shutterbugs and Pufferfish
Each fall the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB) asks students, faculty, and postdocs to submit photographs of fieldwork they’ve conducted across the globe. Staff are also invited to contribute their nature or science related photographs. Forty stunning photos were among the entries in this year’s contest, and more than 300 votes were cast online to pick the winners. Our slideshow highlights some of the winning selections, which include a pufferfish in Japanese waters, ice masses in the foothills of Alaska, and barnacles along Hong Kong’s rocky shores.
