Tammy Kennedy serves as a Lead Administrator (LA) for the Division of Undergraduate Education. Tammy is a part of a team of three LAs who provide units with strategic partnership and guidance on HR, fiscal, procurement and operational policies and procedures. In this position, Tammy is responsible for executing division-wide managerial projects and strategic initiatives and is tasked with the management of process improvements, policy development and compliance, and internal control compliance in HR, Finance, General Operations, Facilities, and IT Administration. As a team, the LAs ensure that administrative and programmatic activities within the Division are consistent and aligned with the strategic mission of the College and University policies.

Transitioning from her career in Elementary Education as a public school teacher, Tammy began her career in higher education at the University of Michigan in 2012. Tammy worked within Student Services for a variety of LSA departments before joining the Division of Undergraduate Education in December 2024. Tammy holds a B.A. in English from Central Michigan University and an M.A. in Higher Education and Student Affairs with a certificate in Advising from Eastern Michigan University.
