Ellington currently manages Intend to Attend (I2A), which supports 8th-12th grade students throughout Michigan as they learn about their postsecondary options, including vocational schools, community colleges, and four-year colleges or universities.

Ellington graduated from the University of Michigan in 2021 with a BA in psychology and a minor in Spanish. She has served in various student support roles: College Advisor at Pontiac High School, Financial Aid Administrator on the Outreach Team in the Office of Financial Aid at U-M, Academic Advisor in the Comprehensive Studies Program, and Program Coordinator of the Summer Bridge Scholars Program. In her free time, Ellington enjoys reading, playing soccer, and spending time with her cat.
