About

Alexa has worked in various spaces focusing on college access and student success. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Michigan and her Master of Arts in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education (HALE) with a Graduate Certificate in Chicano/Latino Studies from Michigan State University. She served as a College Adviser in Lansing with the Michigan College Advising Corps (MCAC), a College Transition Adviser with the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at Michigan State University, and a Program Manager at U-M's First Year Experience (FYE).

Alexa currently manages Intend to Attend (I2A), which empowers 8th-12th grade students throughout Michigan to learn about all postsecondary options, including vocational schools, community colleges, and four-year colleges or universities. I2A's three central elements include tailored coaching and messaging, a suite of digital tools, and a variety of learning opportunities.
