About

Alison Kenyon has been a Wolverine for many years, graduating from the Residential College, and from LSA with a degree in Film, Television and Media. After graduation, Alison became a professional Actors’ Equity Association stage manager, working for well known theatrical companies east of the Mississippi. She returned to Michigan, joining the University of Michigan Investment Office in 2005. As an administrative assistant, she directly supported directors and managers in addition to functioning as the unit’s HR representative.

Alison joined SOS in January of 2018, and has amassed a variety of experience. Highlights include: Ph.D., Master's and undergraduate student services, faculty promotions and hiring, writing content for websites and social media, website management, managing student employees, and preparing and presenting material to students.

Alison enjoys writing for any audience, writing the winning entries for an assortment of contests from Edy’s Ice Cream, to the NFL. Alison is a quick study, and relishes collaboration in the pursuit of ultimate efficiency. When deadlines are imminent, Alison maintains her sense of humor. She is looking forward to working with your team!
