Margaret “Meg” Gibson is a partner in the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis, where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and fund formations. At Kirkland, Ms. Gibson served on the Finance Committee, is an editor of The Kirkland Private Equity Newsletter, and chaired the Budget Sub-Committee for 13 years. Ms. Gibson also serves as the Past President and member of the National Board Executive Committee of the Gift of Adoption Fund, Immediate Past President and member of Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees Kenilworth Union Church, a member of the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law Board, a Foundation Board Member of The Shirley Ryan AbilityLab (f/k/a The Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago) and a past member of the University of Michigan Economics Leadership Council.
Meg graduated with a B.A. in Economics and English in 1984 from the University of Michigan and with a J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 1987. Meg and her husband, Mike Revord, currently reside in Winnetka, Illinois and have two children: Kate (Lake Forest College Class of 2022), and Michael (U-M Ross Class of 2018, lives in New York).
