Since moving to NYC from Chicago in 2002, Jackie has been involved with and served on numerous boards and organizations in New York City. She is very involved with Finding A Cure for Epilepsy and Seizures (FACES) at NYU Langone Hospital, and is also actively involved with Cure Addiction Now, the Susan G. Komen Organization, the YAI Advisory Board (overseeing its network of affiliate agencies serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities) and Partnership for Drug Free Kids. Prior to moving to NYC, she worked at Gatorade in Sports Marketing, working closely with the NBA, NFL, MLB leagues and teams and numerous colleges on partnership, marketing and athlete usage on and off the field of play.
A lifelong sports fan, she is also on the Board of Directors of the New York Renaissance (RENS) Basketball Organization. Jackie was intimately involved with the 2021 creation of the Earl Monroe New Renaissance Basketball Charter School—an emerging college preparatory charter school with a focus on helping students identify and prepare for a wide variety of careers in the sports industries—and continues to serve on its board of directors. She formerly served on the board of NYU Langone Hospital, was President of the New York Chapter of the National Women’s Division of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, and chaired the annual Albert Einstein Family Day in the Hamptons as well as the Annual Spirit of Achievement of Luncheon for over 5 years each. Jackie holds her MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and J. D. from the Northwestern University School of Law. Jackie lives in New York City with her three sons Harrison, Alexander and Jackson.
I am honored to serve on the DAC as it is an incredible opportunity to stay intimately involved in what is going on in LSA at Michigan and to provide insight into topics facing the college. Interacting at all levels with the incredible faculty and students is enlightening and educational and a wonderful opportunity to learn from the best and the brightest.
