The College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) is committed to providing students with resources that allow them to build a professional foundation for success after the completion of their graduate work.

Center for Research on Learning and Teaching (CRLT)

CRLT offers a number of opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows to pursue additional instructional training or receive one-on-one consultation.


Ginsberg Center: Graduate Academic Liaisons

The Ginsberg Center offers a year-long leadership development opportunity for University of Michigan doctoral students to serve as connectors to their home departments, while deepening their knowledge and application of community engaged scholarship and practice.


Rackham Graduate School Professional Development (Rackham)

The Rackham Graduate School offers a variety of resources, programming, and funding to contribute to students’ professional and academic development. 


University Career Center

The University Career Center has expertise in supporting career exploration and conducting both non-academic and academic job searches, and serves PhD students in a variety of ways.
