Lecture by Geoff Emberling, Assistant Research Scientist, Kelsey Museum, is part of the Michigan Archaeological Society monthly meeting.
Dr. Emberling discusses the rise and fall of the ancient Nubian kingdom of Kush along the Nile in what is now southern Egypt and northern Sudan. Emberling also discusses his recent archaeological dig in northern Sudan, which uncovered ancient gold-working sites along the Nile.
