Major Advising:
Schedule an advising appointment to discuss the requirements for the different majors/minors, guidance on course selection, and to declare a major/minor.
(NOTE: Please be advised that the first and last few weeks of fall and winter terms are the busiest times for advising in the Department of Chemistry. During this time, it may take several weeks to get an appointment, so plan accordingly.)
Request a Major/Minor Release:
Ideally, the release is submitted the term before you plan to graduate to ensure requirements have been met. Major/minor releases can be requested without an advising appointment for students who meet the following criteria:
1. Declared Department of Chemistry major or minor
2. LSA Online Audit Checklist is error-free
If these apply to you, you may request a release online (no appointment necessary).
