What is your advising philosophy? 

My advising philosophy is to bring a completely student-centered approach to my work, where every student feels valued, heard, and empowered to succeed and is placed on their best path forward.

What was your path to Newnan?

I was a Rhetoric and Composition Instructor for the past 6 years at the community college and university level.

What do you enjoy about working in Newnan?   

I feel as though Newnan is the perfect place for me to transition to a more holistic and student-focused role. I really enjoy working with high-achieving students as well.

Class you loved and why? 

I loved all of the Black Studies courses I took during my PhD program at the University of Louisiana Lafayette with Dr. Maria Seger. I feel like I learned so much and those classes were instrumental in my own work and research as a scholar.
