Prospective Student Visits

Welcome to Physics Campus Days! This brand new opportunity is targeted towards high school juniors and seniors  and transfer students who are considering the University of Michigan Physics program. It offers a brief overview, lasting approximately 1.5 hours, of the program, facility, and resources available to you as a student.

As an attendee, you may bring one guest. You will have the opportunity to tour the building, including our laboratories, and meet with staff, faculty, and current students. Additionally, we will have advisors from both LSA’s Newnan Advising Center and the Physics Department on hand to be able to answer questions.

The itinerary for each day is the same, but space is limited! If you are interested in attending, please fill out the Google Form. Spots will be given on a first come, first served basis. If you are planning to attend a general tour of campus, they are typically offered on Monday and Friday at 10am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm, and Saturday at 9am and 10:30am. We recommend choosing a time other than the Friday 10am or 11:30am to avoid conflicts with Physics Campus Days. If the date that you would like to attend is full and you would like to be added to a wait list, or you have any questions, you can contact us at We look forward to seeing you!
