Chelsea joined the administrative staff of the University of Michigan as the Physics Undergraduate Program Coordinator in July 2019. Before coming to the University of Michigan, Chelsea taught History at the secondary education level for several years. Chelsea holds a BS in Social Studies from Eastern Michigan University and is a dual-certified 6th through 12th grade Social Studies and History teacher.


In her role, Chelsea manages the Physics course offerings, student registration, and enrollments each term. She is also involved in student recruitment and retention activities by planning social activities and professional development workshops for current students and representing the department at fairs and other prospective student events. Chelsea coordinates undergraduate advising for the department and works to monitor student progress through our programs. Chelsea’s favorite parts of her job include the opportunity to speak with students from all over and helping them achieve their educational goals.
