About Carleigh:

Carleigh Jaques, a distinguished LSA alum with degrees in Political Science and French Language, has crafted a remarkable career spanning over three decades. She has held key leadership roles, including General Manager of a billion-plus revenue technology business, Head of Corporate Strategy and Corporate Development for a Fortune 150 company, and a successful tenure as an investment banker.

In her most recent role, Carleigh led the global fraud and risk business for Visa, a company that processes over 200 billion transactions annually, utilizing cutting-edge technologies like AI and ML. She has also been at the forefront of helping millions of merchants worldwide harness technology to drive revenue growth and combat fraud. You have most likely used the technology whether paying for groceries at the corner store in a face-to-face interaction, tapping on a countertop, boarding a train in Monterey or Porto, paying on mobile, or ordering a hand-crafted good from another country on a laptop. Carleigh was also Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Strategy, Global M&A, and Corporate Development for Visa Inc for eight years, setting Visa’s corporate and innovation strategy agendas, executing country-level strategies, and evolving go-to-market. Her M&A and Corporate Development function led Visa’s engagement in a range of transactions, from strategic investments through joint ventures and acquisitions, including Visa's $20 billion acquisition of Visa Europe. Prior to joining Visa, Ms. Jaques spent 15 years in technology investment banking. She has significant technology domain expertise in mobile communications, security, enterprise software, analytics, and internet infrastructure.
