About
Harrison is a junior pursuing a B.S. in Biology, Health, and Society in the College of LSA. Harrison's first experience abroad back in his sophomore year of high school (studying French language and culture in Paris, France) sparked his interest in immersive cultural learning. This contributed to him seeking other opportunities to study abroad after his arrival at the University. He has since participated in the Global Intercultural Experience for Undergraduates Program (GIEU) where he did 150+ hours of community service in various villages in/around Chiang Mai, Thailand. While there, he also had the opportunity to take weekly Thai language lessons, meet Thai college students, spend one-on-one time with free-roaming elephants, and have a plethora of other life-changing experiences.
