Juliana Mesa

Juliana received B.S. in Geology and M.Sc in Earth Sciences from EAFIT University in Colombia, and a PhD in Earth and Environmental Sciences from the University of Michigan. Her fulfilling career in research, teaching, and industry has exposed her to different cultures in Latin America, North America, and Europe. As a result, she values and understands the importance of cultural exchange and its impact in one’s professional and personal life. Juliana hopes to inspire a growth mindset and encourage students to succeed.
