Join Professor Joshua Rabinowitz and CGIS Advisor, Joy Richardson, to learn more about the CGIS: Global Course Connections (GCC) in Rome, Italy - Modern Italy and Political Psychology program. This GCC program offers the unique opportunity to pair your on-campus winter studies with an exciting hands-on 3-week global experience taught by Joshua Rabinowitz in the summer.
Using Rome, Italy, as an experiential laboratory, this course connection will tie the theories and findings of social and political psychology to the modern Italian context. You will see through museum visits, architectural tours, artistic and cultural experiences, and class discussions how social identity, collective action, and political ideology (including fascism and contemporary populism) have resonated through the last 200 years of Italian history.
