Completing General Degree Requirements as an English Major
Courses that transfer with the U-M subject ENGLISH cannot be used for Area Distribution for English majors. Therefore the following GRCC classes cannot be used for area distribution as they are listed on the General Degree Requirement Transfer Guide.
EN 120, 233, 235, 237, 240, 242, 246, 247, 248, 252, 261, 262, 270, 271, 272, 275, 278, 281, 282, 284 cannot be used to fulfill humanities distribution
ENG 247 and 248 cannot be used to fulfill creative expression distribution
First Year Writing Requirement (FYWR): EN 102 can fulfill the FYWR for English majors.
