Program on Intergroup Relations

U-M’s Program on Intergroup Relations (IGR) offers students the opportunity to engage in and teach social justice. An introductory course, SOC 122: Intergroup Dialogues, introduces the student to concepts of social identities and intercultural communication. Advanced coursework includes SOC 320, 321, and 324. These courses train undergraduates as dialogue facilitators for SOC 122. More information about IGR’s courses and programs is available on the IGR website.

Regular credit exclusions and limitations apply for Sociology majors and minors.
